Fairloop Ltd. is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains. Modern slavery is a serious violation of human rights, including practices such as forced labour, human trafficking, and servitude. Fairloop Ltd. upholds high standards of ethics and integrity in all business dealings and expects the same from our suppliers and partners.
Company Overview
Fairloop Ltd. (Company No. 16622492) is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 35 Carlton Road, Erith, Kent, DA8 1DR, United Kingdom. We are a small, family-run business supplying cleaning and consumable products to universities, hotels, and other organisations across the UK. Guided by our 4E Promise — Ethical, Environmental, Economical, and Efficient — we are committed to conducting business responsibly and transparently.
Responsibility and Accountability
Overall responsibility for this policy sits with the Director, who ensures it is effectively communicated and embedded in our operations. The Director also maintains oversight of supplier practices and ensures all staff and stakeholders understand Fairloop Ltd.’s ethical commitments.
Supply Chain Due Diligence
Fairloop Ltd. requires all suppliers to comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and expects them to apply the same high standards within their own supply chains, as set out in our Supplier Code of Conduct. No supplier will be engaged unless appropriate measures are demonstrated to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking.
We conduct proportionate risk assessments and due diligence in our procurement processes to identify and mitigate any risks of modern slavery, with a particular focus on manufacturing and raw material sourcing. The risk within Fairloop Ltd.’s direct operations is minimal. Supplier risk and compliance are reviewed annually or at major contract renewal.
Training and Awareness
Fairloop Ltd. currently employs a small team. Training and awareness are provided where appropriate to ensure that staff understand the risks of modern slavery and their responsibilities under this policy. The Director remains informed of compliance requirements through guidance from UK authorities and industry bodies. Suppliers are expected to raise awareness within their own organisations to support compliance with this policy.
Reporting and Whistleblowing
Any suspicions or concerns of modern slavery can be reported directly and confidentially to the Director of Fairloop Ltd. Reports will be treated in confidence, and Fairloop Ltd. guarantees protection against retaliation for those who raise concerns in good faith.
Policy Enforcement
Any credible evidence of modern slavery identified within Fairloop Ltd.’s supply chains will result in immediate review of that supplier relationship. For commercial partners found to be involved in modern slavery, Fairloop Ltd. will terminate dealings in order to maintain our ethical standards.
Review
Although Fairloop Ltd. is not legally required to publish a modern slavery statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have chosen to do so voluntarily as part of our commitment to ethical and responsible business practices. This statement, and related supplier compliance processes, are reviewed annually to ensure ongoing effectiveness and alignment with best practice standards.
Approval
This statement was approved by the Director, Davinder Singh Ratra, of Fairloop Ltd. on 1 September 2025.
